Class 7. Monday 03/11

Hello!

This week we´ve got a lot of news!

Firstly, we finally could get in contact with other students from Greece, and next Monday we´re eventually going to have a skype session! So, prepare your questions and some short presentation about yourselves, find something interesting to tell!

Secondly, we´re organising a blog competition "My Week with the Dragon". You´ll have to post your stories about your week with the Dragon here in the blog. Write a story, post photos and put any interesting links in the Internet. The rest of the class has to vote for the story in the comments of the blog below, you can give your points from 1 to 10 for the story you like. The story that gets the most points in the end of the trimestre - wins a surprise!

(I´ve put two stories in the blog - Silvia´s and Pablo´s week with the Dragon. They left me their pdfs with photos, I just helped to post them here. The rest you have to do yourselves!)

All right, so lots of plans! Today we´ve revised the vocabulary from our new topic - school subjects and what we study:
We study the science of numbers and shapes - Maths.
We study the events from the past - History.
We study the parts of living things - Biology etc.

We had our Olympic Games and got the following points:
Player 1 - 15 points
Player 2 - 16 points
Player 3 -  points
Player 4 - 10 points
Player 5 - 16 points
Player 6 - 10 points
Player 7 - 14 points

We also watched a short video about a school day in Britain and we found out a lot of interesting things about a Lollipop Lady, school subjects, school day, canteen etc.

We also learnt some verbs to express what we like and dislike:
It is OK + (Maths is OK.)
I like ++ (I like Biology.)
I love +++ (I love P.E.)
I don´t like - (I don´t like History.)
I can´t stand - - (I can´t stand I.T.)
I hate - - -  (I hate Chemistry.)

Your homework is to do the exercises in the copy and write some sentences about what you like/dislike at school.
This week a lucky student is Clara Salazar who spends a week with the Dragon. Write your story in the blog.
